Unity is a worldwide movement of prayer and education that helps people of all faiths apply positive spiritual principles in their daily lives. Unity has been teaching the lessons of Jesus for more than 100 years and supports all people in their individual quest to know God and find healing in their lives. Our progressive philosophy offers a practical approach to Christianity and teaches that as children of God, we are heir to all that we need.  

Unity in the Heart of Georgia is part of this movement as one of nearly 1000 inter-denominational churches throughout the world that make up the Association of Unity Churches International. Millions of people have been introduced to Unity through its publications, such as the Daily Word and Unity Magazine, published at Unity World Headquarters in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Millions of other people have come to know Unity and receive prayer support through Silent Unity, which has maintained a round-the-clock vigil of prayer for over 100 years.

Five Foundational Principles

1.
God is the source and creator of all. There is no other enduring power. 
God is good and present everywhere.

2.
We are spiritual beings, created in God’s image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently good.

3.
We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

4.
There is power in affirmative prayer, which we believe
increases our connection to God.

5.
Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We must live them.
