Unity in the Heart of Georgia is barely two-years old;
yet, we have an expansive vision for our role in Central Georgia. Located
between Macon and Warner Robins, this spiritual community seeks to be the
progressive spiritual voice in our region.
Unity in the Heart of Georgia provides a safe and sacred space for study,
participation, fellowship, support, transformation, and awakening to the joy
of living in God's world. Unity affirms the freedom of each individual to
advance spiritually according to his or her own level of understanding.
Ordained in 1990, Debra Carter Williams has served some of Unity's larger ministries. She served as Associate Minister at Atlanta Unity Church, and as Senior Minister of ministries in Columbus, Ohio, and Naples, Florida. Rev. Williams moved to Macon, Georgia in 2008 to become a full time Religious Studies major at Wesleyan College. In early 2009, she was asked to serve Unity in the Heart of Georgia.
